FIRST BARREL :: EX-BOURBON CASK First matured in ex-bourbon casks made from AMERICAN WHITE OAK for 12 years in Scotland, the malt spirit undergoes a rich transformation developing distinct and creamy flavours of caramel, vanilla and honey. ~~~~~ SECOND BARREL :: OLOROSO SHERRY CASK Further matured for one year in OLOROSO SHERRY casks in Nepal, the sherry cask adds depth, smoothness and character to the whisky. This second cask maturation also imparts notes of dried fruits to the Old Durbar 12 Years Old Blended Scotch Whisky. ~~~~~ THIRD BARREL :: PEDRO XIMENEZ CASK The malt spirit is finished in PEDRO XIMENEZ sherry casks for six months in Nepal, allowing the whisky to develop a full-bodied profile with raisin notes and sherry sweetness.
