Description
This gin marks a significant milestone as India’s inaugural London dry gin. It is copper pot distilled using botanicals meticulously sourced from both India and around the globe. The gin is characterized by a refreshing juniper and zesty lemon peel aroma, further complemented by a lively hint of ginger on the finish.
In the midst of the “Ginaissance” of 2015, two Delhi-based bar owners eagerly anticipated the influx of gin brands, only to be met with disappointment. Despite India’s historical connection to gin and the abundance of exotic gin botanicals in local kitchens, the country remained in the dark ages of gin production. Undeterred, the bar owners embarked on a journey to create their own gin.
Venturing beyond the bar, they acquired a copper pot still and conducted extensive experiments with an array of spices, herbs, and fruits. Amid countless trials and setbacks, they ultimately discovered a recipe that captured their hearts and became not just a staple in their own bar but a product they were eager to share with the entire nation and beyond.
